Our commitment

Melly’s Workplace is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to access information, shop, and engage with our programs with dignity, independence, and ease.

Accessibility standards

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we work to improve accessibility across our website on an ongoing basis.

Accessibility features on our site

To support accessibility, Mellysworkplace.ca includes the UserWay Accessibility Widget, which offers tools such as (depending on your device and browser):

• text and font adjustments

• contrast and colour options

• keyboard navigation support

• reading aids and other accessibility preferences

Using the accessibility menu

You can open the accessibility menu by selecting the accessibility icon on the page (typically in the corner). You may also be able to access it using your keyboard (for example, by using the Tab key when the page loads). Please allow a moment for the menu to fully load after opening it.

Ongoing improvements

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our website. This includes reviewing pages and content, addressing issues we identify, and using scanning tools to help flag potential barriers.

Known limitations

While we work to make all content accessible, some areas of the website may not yet fully meet the latest accessibility standards. This may include older pages, third-party tools, or embedded content that is outside of our direct control. If you encounter an issue, we want to hear about it so we can improve.
